Who are we?

Make em Smile is a Church Alive initiative. We want to be part of making a lasting impact in our community and surrounding areas. This is achieved through various avenues:

COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROJECTS

PROVIDING TRAINING AND EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES

At Make Em Smile we want to provide a platform for people to be involved in creating a change in our community.

Food Punnets

Frozen meals that are collected through Church Alive are distributed to those in need. It is an amazing way to feed the hungry and help those who cannot afford to buy food.

Vitamin Pack Initiative

This initiative was birthed during the COVID-19 pandemic whereby vitamins are distributed to people who cannot afford them. We believe this will help keep people healthy and will help their immune systems fight off any viruses. It is also a gateway to the community and has helped us build relationships and pinpoint other ways we can help families going forward.

Bursary Schemes

We want to be part of making a lasting impact in our community and nation and believe that the best way to do that is to help young South Africans get a good education as a foundation for their future.

Orphan Holidays

We provide fully funded holidays/day outings for orphaned and vulnerable children in KZN. We love the joy it brings to these kids and the lasting memories created.

House Revamps

Some of our current initiatives have highlighted the need for home makeovers and have also been an amazing contact point to pinpoint families who we can bless with a home renovation and/or upgrade. We are excited to impact our community in this way in the near future.
